Lighting, in case anyone wondered.
There is a popular reflection pond in the Tatoosh mountains that photographers have been visiting for years. Personally, I’ve hiked to it many times, but have only been able to shoot pictures twice. Once, it was still covered in snow (in late July), another time, the clouds were so thick I couldn’t see anything but gray. This year, was a good year. BTW, one of my pictures from the Olymplic National Park is published in this months issue of Backpacker Magazine.
Brian, an awesome photographer for Photo Elan also came. He blogged about it here.

- LOVE! Truly great outdoor photography evokes emotional response, and I'm feelin' it!April 26, 2010 - 7:29 pm
- These are unbelievable! Your talent for colour and composition are truly fabulous - if you ever get tired of happy couples, you have a beautiful future in nature photography. Wowsa! These images were taken by Patrick Love, about 3 miles from the Google campus in Kirkland, WA. One day later, Google released the Parisian Love Commercial during the Super Bowl. Coincidence? I think not.
Last name, Ever. First name, Greatest!
Beautiful, awesome and cold! Katey and Steve had such a fun winter wedding.
