Such an amazing day. I wish I could live it a few more times, just for fun. We had a blast doing their engagement pictures here.

Michelle and Bo are Double Rainbow… just sayin’. They are always going to have a special place in my heart. Editing their wedding pictures brought back so many amazing memories and emotions. I’m so thankful that they invited me to their wedding.

Diana and Daniel live in New York, but have family here in the Seattle area. Lucky for me, the Argosy cruise boat they were married on docks only about 4 blocks from my house. It was a beautiful and heartfelt wedding, with an amazing sunset thrown in to crank up the awesomeness factor!

- Wow, what an awesome and challenging ceremony location. You totally rocked that ceremony. Loving the new blog.October 28, 2009 - 8:37 am

This was not just a regular old 1-day wedding, it was actually 3 days long. BOOM! My brother, Gary shot the wedding with me, and in the end we took over 7000 images! These are just the tip of the iceberg.

I’m lucky enough to shoot a lot of really fun brides and grooms and Briana and Dan were no exception. At the end of the evening, the DJ was amazed at how much fun this group was, and even did his best to convince the owners of the Grand Willows Inn to not stop the music.

The groom’s wedding party- they make other wedding parties tremble in fear!

Here is a blog post for all the conspiracy theorists out there… Remember the heatwave Seattle had at the beginning of August? Yeah, the one with the highest temperatures since the 1940′s. Sure, there might be some people who think that there is a more scientific explanation, but I’ll let you be the judge. I think you will agree that I have photographic proof that clearly shows the epicenter of the now legendary heatwave. I’m not trying to point fingers or blame anyone, but do you really think that it is a coincidence Sayuri and Richard got married at the exact moment the heatwave peaked and began to subside?
Fortunately, the wedding was at the Alderbrook Resort and Spa which is located right on the Hood Canal. The ceremony was right by the water, which helped to keep things very comfortable.
Sayuri is so HAWT, she gets her own spelling!

The last time I saw a bull fight I was in Ensenada, Mexico! Toro!

After the first dance, we went out to the lake for some EPIC sunset photos. Later we learned there was a forest fire in the mountains north of here. The exceptionally red sunset that evening was due to all the smoke in the atmosphere.

- Wow Patrick, what an awesome set of images. Really enjoyed the lighting on the sunset images.August 19, 2009 - 1:04 pm
Ashley and Drew had their ceremony and reception at the amazing Trilogy Golf Club at Redmond Ridge. They are a couple that knows how to get down and have a good time, which made them so much fun to work with. Consequently, at their wedding they didn’t skimp on the fun-factor.

Hide-n-seek with the flower girl.

The dancing at Ashley and Drew’s reception was even more off the hook than what can be seen HERE!…:-)

Drew singing Gin-n-Juice on the mic. He rocked it so hard! One of the coolest things ever seen at a wedding!

Tribute to Michael on the dance floor.
