I dropped a Love Shack on the uBRDO Cycle and Mountain Supply / Bike Hugger Party! For anyone that doesn’t know, that Love Shack is a Patrick Love Photography vs. Photo Booth mashup. Drop one on your wedding reception or corporate party and watch it EXPLODE!

The Seattle International Film Festival threw the most amazing fund raiser at Pravda Studios. It had a Caribbean/Pirate theme. The organizers loved the photos that I took at the Francis Ford Coppola event last year, so they asked me to come back.

The mission: Shoot a fashion show like a wedding at Pravda Studio in Seattle.
Let the sexy-time commence… Boom! I’m really excited about these pictures and the project that has consumed the last two days of my life. I shot still images, and also did some time-lapse video- you know, the movies where clouds move accross the sky really fast or a flower grows up in one minute. Anyway, the final product is going to equal the square root of awesome!
A little youtube video about Zac Posen can be seen here.

Below- My favorite image of the day, if not the entire show. It shows how hard the work is, but also the beauty. The guy putting the model’s shoe on probably worked two 15-hour days!

Oh man, this was a good one! First, take the largest film festival in the United States, the Seattle International Film Festival. Add the 5-time Oscar winning producer Francis Ford Coppola. Put them together in Seattle’s best private party location, Pravda Studio. Add Seattle’s finest celebrity chef, Thierry Rautureau from Rover’s. Also in attendance was Tacoma’s own, Dale Chihuly, the world’s greatest glass artist, whose art is currently in museums around the world. It all came together at Pravda in the best way that it possibly could!

The guests loved Thierry's food.

I don’t usually shoot events, but when Pravda Studio says that they want me to shoot one of their new party concepts, you bet I will! Their words were that they really liked the pictures that I did of a wedding there awhile back, on the Photo Elan team, and they wanted me back.

Now this isn’t just your average Seattle corporate event. In fact, if you have ask how much it costs, it probably isn’t for you (around $15,000)! What you get is over 5000 sq/ft of Seattle’s hottest loft-style studio, 2 hair stylists, 2 make-up artists, 2 studio photographers, 4 photographers assistants and an entire team of photo retouchers and printers. Everyone that comes to party will get a make over, have their pictures taken, and leave at the end of the night with a beautifully retouched professional portrait of themselves. Plus you get to drink wine, eat trendy hors d’oeuvres and mingle with everyone while the whole process is happening.
